-If you are still wanting to play, you can register and put your name on the sub list or injury list. If you are a catcher or a Pitcher, those are always needed in tight situations. If we can't get you in for a game or two there, we can add you when our next season comes around.

 

New and improved portions of the league:

- Back to an 18 game schedule starting in April

- New playoff format with multiple 3 game series to end the season

- Switch to MSBL allows for better access to Arizona fall tournaments that don't impede scheduling

-Less crossover with 33 plus league allowing for guys to play in both at a discounted rate if they want. 33 plus will start at the end of July and play only 1 game a week through middle of October.

This year the 18-plus season will run from April through July with playoffs right after. 33 plus season will run from Mid June through October. With less crossover, we will have more field access for growth and allow more players to play in both leagues. Please contact the site or your manager if you have an interest in playing in both or either.

 

 

 

 

Our League

NABA Boise has been around in one form or another since 1989. It is a wood-bat baseball league and part of the National Adult Baseball Association, the fastest-growing amateur baseball association in the USA. We are committed to providing a fun, family-friendly, and competitive atmosphere for adults aged 18 to 80 to enjoy America’s Pastime. Our 10-team league typically begins regular season play around the first of May, with an 18-game season running through August. Playoffs begin sometime after Labor Day. Our games are played in Meridian at Storey Park (Mo Brooks Field), Settlers Park in Meridian, and Reed Field in Kuna. We are looking to expand our league to add a 35 and 50-plus age group. Please message us if you are interested in this. We just need players and available fields to continue the growth.

Fees

Fees depend on how many teams are participating, how many players you have on your team, whether or not your team needs new uniforms or equipment, and other factors. Boise NABA is a non-profit organization and one of our main priorities is to keep costs as cheap as possible while still providing a fun experience for all. Fees cover everything from field reservations, umpires, NABA league dues, baseballs, insurance, website maintenance, uniforms, and equipment. Budget around 10-12 dollars per game to be safe.

 

Umpires

Our league is fortunate to partner with local umpires to provide a better game experience than many other leagues. We often have two umpires at each of our games. We all know that balls and strikes are our favorite things to argue about, but our league demands respect for these umpires no matter the call. We have a ZERO tolerance policy for any confrontations with these umps. This does not include banter or simple arguments, but pretty much anything past that point. They don't need to be at our games and we don't want to lose this privilege. Thank you
